Sound temperament is crucial as a starting point. No matter how well-structured a dog is, the JRT's primary role is that of a friend and companion.
Temperament is something that you will have to assess as to whether it is genetically-based or caused by poor socialization. Genetically-based shyness or aggresiveness is difficult to breed away.
We are very proud of our female lines. They are sound; free from both genetic defects & stuctural weaknesses. As for being aggressive, see the pics on our puppy page!
